Happy 7-12 to YOU ….!

well, It’s been ages since I have posted .. (very boring statement btw)
Today is Friday, 7th Dec, 2007 .. and now Exactly is one year away from 7-12-2006 big event !!

well, I know that not everyone know about 7-12 but let me sort few bullet points ..

and of course I know that we all had better days and we never memorize such a day such regular events I have sorted above !!

Well, I prefer to keep the real reason away from crowd … (m3a en ta2reban keda wel3lm llh elle byshofo el Zlog dah 3arfeen el real REASON !) LOL

I Only wanna add that 7-12 is a Key frame in my life !!
And I don’t think that i will forget that day, basically I don’t want to !!

Except, having a lot of misunderstanding and misbehaving among that day .. It’ll remain a day to remember for life time…

Now, earlier I have announced that I’ll code a system called 7-12 ..

real fact I did started coding a system called 7-12 and I thought about CMS the I changed my mind to be a very generic system that hold different types of components with different functionalities .. and Finally I realized that what I coded is actually doesn’t have a specific notation or system categorization .. I mean it’s as system after all.. to do what …. I really can’t Explain in text !!

So, I preferred calling it 7-12 .up until today, when I realized that 7-12 could be a framework !!

Yep, with few more effort I can develop a very Innovative and unique MVC framework .. sounds Exciting I know, but let me Explain later …

Back to the real world .. I coded a system core that can hold a component placed in folder comp under the document_root

and that was actually the idea behind Original 7-12 .. to have a system that have easy way to install reusable components just by coding it and placing in the comp folder using the same basic lay out, it sounds good specially when you can use a system with multi component, choosing the default component, having a different flavors system, and marketable system, etc …

Suddenly, I realized that I need to test it in real application .. , Basic code snippet work but .. what about more complicated code …
I-at once- memorized event Manager component … eMan and I decided to code it under 7-12 .. and I started ..
and It was gr8 till I got my new lap .. the development process was soo sooo lazy and I changed the plateform more than 3 or four time and I lost the db Once .. !

It’s OK with me .. but yesterday was the final day and I believe in myself as usual and I believe that I can finish up the whole system in 1 hour if I concentrated ..!!
And, Guess what after a very Motivating statement ,I started ……

yak, BUGS .. last time I wrote code were 14 days ago !! and I totally don’t remember what ’s that as i didn’t comment my code specifically that last time !!
Application doesn’t work at ALL .. I traced the code ..changed the error_reporting .. many times.. everywhere ..I found no place to debug and system just have no output to tell me where to fix !!
It’s 11:00 AM today and application is not responding I doubt the server and I wrote another script which ’s worked at once with no bugs and Exactly like what I Expected ..
3:00Pm 2day(ba3d el salla wba3d el 3asr kaman) .. I decided to use the old back up at windows something pushed me to test the same code under windows .. for god sake it must have output …

3:15 .. yep .. here we are testing under my dying VISTA .. SUCKS BTW ..
And I stared when I found a semicoln error .. it’s output after all !!
few other bugs I fixed them and system is now ready to start developmen, I went back once to Linux to realize that it’s not putting out any error messages I don’t know why !!

it’s 4:00 PM now .. I’m rushed to finish up the component leaving all the security issues behind .. and the lunch too..

finally I reached a usable system at 4:40 .. Thanks GOD

I came here to post that Zlog and I’ll upload eMan the old one now and I’ll upload the new one after I Came from MosQue ..
I still didn’t talk about 7-12 MVC aproach ..

eMan the compnent name is sent in the URL as GET … that’s why I’m using the short name eMan instead of event manager …
