1-It’s for my Sake .. I know ..
It’s for CAT .. yes, CAT is suffering only because “AlSayed Gamal” is holding this position .. and people even asked me to leave .. which may be the first time to happen in CAT’s history ..in volunteer community -specially a business related one like CAT- it’s hard to continue that way ..
And I even have so many details to add but I prefer it to be off line.
2-For Sure it CAN be better but what is surprising me is how people judge that tough .. it’s only the second issue and it’s printed for free and every single sold issue is a profit .. which is enough even if it contains crap .. and I just feeeL maad when I remember empty meetings that CSED held .. I still remember adding them to one of my dkTalk session in order not to waste their time waiting for people alone ..!

Anyway, they are still looking for participation – as far as i know- and If the next coordinator is interested in CaTaZine3 isA I’ll it’ll be better

I have read the Post, but I was leaving without comment, for several reasons, I think you know them …!
But for the same reasons I decided that I will comment .!
CAT’S !!!

Anyway , for the coordinator issue ,
I know your reasons or some of them , and it is up to you before anything .
But If for cat sake is one from your reasons then you must think again and again ,
I told with you before in this issue but I didn’t say all what i want to say ,
may be I will talking with you again and maybe NOT !

SO , you must collect all the notes , and why people said to you LEAVE … if because some cons in you then you must change it for you first and for CAT next …!

anyway …
1- CAT is not that member who told you to leave (or memberS, but i’m sure they’re not many)

i mean … look around!!
till now, all the CAT members i talked to, don’t want you to leave!

we may not feel your activities sometimes, but i’m sure ahmed el-gamil meant his words when he said that you’re doing your best, but the output may not be visible to all CAT members!!!

but, if it’s for your sake … it’s up to you , but i don’t recommend it!!

2- i think people may judge tough because this is CAT’s magazine, and they know CAT -3la ra2y Ivan- “ag3as group IT fe kolleyet handasa”
so they were expecting better!!

but i think this is really great for now, and it’ll be better in the next issues, ofcourse with foundations help!!

finally ..
you should remember that you helped making CATazine succeed, and you also helped making Scopes and Days that CAT will never forget!!!

so .. we should thank you for everything you’ve done:)

about adding my blog, i dunno where exactly you’re going to add it , but anyway … i got no problem about that!

I’m not sure if I can get every word, but generally I’m sure that I’m not the best fit now ..
And CAT needs a new Coordinator who is not me ..
It’ll be a long topic if I tried to show why it’s better to have someone -who is not me- in the coordinator position.

Anyway .. The point isn’t who and how many said that I’m leaving .. I stated it just to notify you that people are not thinking the same, specially when it comes to my activity ..
IMO, the reason behind supporting my stay in this position is more related to the fear of “who will be next ?” and it’s not related to how efficient I’m ..
Which is great shift, compared to my coordinator life..
And by itself is great reason to leave..
Regarding who will be next, frankly I don’t have specific names to announce but I strongly believe that any responsible person with moderate experience dealing with community will be successful for many reasons and I’ll show only 2 of them:
1-Automation and resources:
except for dealing with faculty and reserving halls and so on ..
Everything is moving to automation ..
And we -specially now- are having better relations with outer community sponsors, print houses, books&bean, other families, and similar communities .. and better resources represented in 4 MATURE and COMPETING foundations
With no poles as {H.R} and enough financial resources {money, projector sound sys,120+ lab hours stand etc..} .. which will keep minimum of activity run in a decent way just in case we weren’t able to organize large scaled events ..
This point shows that Activity is totally dependant on foundations who can FREELY use CAT resources to make foundation activity which is also CAT activity ..

2-Experience:
Experience now is more distributed to foundations and not any more centralized in me, bingo,Ayman or Bakr ..
dealing with sponsors is easier now..
printing is easier and cheaper ..
again-only- issues related to the faculty and creditability will be related to me as an official “manager” their ..
And I’ll never block in piece of experience that will help the new coordinator whoever he was ..?

even if you’re right, this also means that you are the the most efficient and suitable one who can take this position

people may judge your efficiency, but did they really compare it with others’ efficiencies!!

What you really think -and I do appreciate your opinion on me- is not what others do think …

And I’m sure once I announce that it’s open to nominate yourself … members -who I do really appreciate- will show up and I’ll be so proud helping them ..
Just in case no one showed up .. I’ll be pushing people to go to nominate themselves and finally if no one got involved I’ll remain the coordinator just to make a new coordinator project but me ..
